COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions we receive from readers, providers, and journalists.

How do I submit a story tip securely?

Use our secure tips email (tips@ertimes.com) or the Secure News Tip form above. We never reveal sources without explicit consent. For maximum security, consider using a ProtonMail or encrypted email client.

How quickly do you respond to corrections?

We aim to respond to all correction requests within 24 hours. If a correction is warranted, we publish it prominently on the original article and note the date and nature of the change.

Can I contribute a clinical article or case review?

Yes. We welcome contributions from board-certified emergency physicians, nurses, and EMS professionals. Contact cme@ertimes.com with a brief proposal. All clinical content undergoes peer review before publication.

Do you accept advertising or sponsored content?

We accept limited display advertising from non-clinical companies. We do not publish sponsored content disguised as editorial, and we never accept advertising from pharmaceutical companies, hospital staffing firms, or insurers that could compromise our independence.

How can I share my ER experience as a patient or provider?

Visit our Real Stories or Provider Voices sections and use the submission links there. All patient stories require written consent before publication. Provider submissions are reviewed by our editorial team.
